Basketball Camps for Adolescents

The award is granted from the U.S. Embassy in Beirut to implement 5 basketball camps for 250 adolescents in Southern Lebanon.

The villages/cities targeted:

Sawaneh

Marjeyoun

Nabatieh

Bourj Rahhal

Ouzai

Following the camps implemented in those areas, a regional day will bring together beneficiaries from all the targeted areas.

The aim of the project is to train adolescents on the fundemental skills of basketball, such as dribbling, shooting, passing, defense, ball handling, in addition to conflict resolution activities to 50 boys and girls (ages 13-14) per camp.
